Here's some pictures I took from Coldplay's July 25th show at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, PA. As you can probably tell from the pictures, our seats were some of the worst in the house. Here's the photos:

In this photo, the roadies are setting up the stage

This is a shot of the opening song, "Life In Technicolor". The blue orb you see towards the center of the photo illuminated throughout the song, as well as the clear lights seen on stage. They pulsated with the beat of the music.

If you've seen Coldplay before, this shot of the light show during "Clocks" should be familiar.

I don't remember exactly what song this shot is from, but it's either "In My Place" or "Viva La Vida".

The stage had two wings coming off of each side, and above you'll see the band performing an interesting rendition of "God Put A Smile Upon Your Face".

For "The Scientist", the band retreated to the back of the venue and gave the 100/200 section an up-close performance. After performing an acoustic version of the song, drummer Will "attempts to out do Genesis and become the greatest singer/drummer of all time" as Chris put it and sings us an unreleased song.

The first encore ended with "Death and All His Friends", the last track on the new album. The large orbs hanging from the ceiling sprayed (yes, it looked as if the confetti was spraying out of them) confetti over the entire venue. I looked awesome but I feel bad for the cleaning people.

Lastly, here's a shot of the back drop that was used during "Death and All His Friends".
I have larger versions of these photos that I may one day upload to flickr. I'll be sure to add a link here to the high res versions once posted.
