I posted an article a little while back about the Real ID act and how every American citizen will have to obtain and carry the federally issued identification card that replaces your state issued ID/drivers license. No2RealID.org has been founded to explain why the Real ID act is a bad idea. Although I feel the site may be a little extreme on their opinions, the fact that they are against Real IDs is good enough for me. It seems like a huge waste of money (roughly $23 billion according to DHS) and an invasion of privacy. Take a look at this site and choose your own reasons to hate the real ID act.
